The Book Re-Opens

The Book Re-Opens

Perhaps I was a bit
too ambitious last year
trying to take on Shakespeare
and his sonnet masterworks
and finish them on a deadline.

That can't make me less of
a scribe I hope,
having made it only half way,
by age 33.

I thought I'd be dead and,
Resurrected by now,
Turns out to be quite the contrary.

The world continues,
to bleat out in wild colors,
and the digitization of
the future holds many more wonders,
than can be compared.

So let me take you on this short odyssey,
Of the past year,
and bring the lightspeed of innerspace home.
